Chief Executive Officer, Edge Growth and Executive Director, Edge Board As CEO Daniel leads Edge in achieving its purpose of “Building a brighter future, by growing businesses for impact”. Since 2007, 100s of SMEs supported have thrived and they create over 1000 net jobs per year. He has been involved in Enterprise Development and Impact Investing across the entire value chain – from developing and implementing strategies for corporates, raising capital and setting up the first ever ESD funds, to hands-on investing and supporting SMEs on their growth journeys.
Chairperson of the Board and Non-Executive Director, Edge Growth and Co-founder and Director, The HR Touch Maggie is also chairperson for a number of boards and committees and is a change management strategist who steers transformation direction for some of South Africa’s leading blue-chip brands. She brings over 20 years of Human Resources Management in Executive positions across different industries. She is involved in various professional bodies in the HR field and is a regular speaker and facilitator on a range of topics.
Chief Executive: Accelerate, Edge Growth and Executive Director, Edge Board Jason is responsible for developing business models to find, fund and grow high growth businesses. He has more than 10 years’ experience working with high growth entrepreneurial businesses. Since co-founding Edge in 2007, Jason has worked with several of the world’s largest firms to develop strategies for growing local enterprises and suppliers. Jason currently heads up 10X-e, which is a highly acclaimed entrepreneurial programme for fast growing businesses.
Non-Executive Director Edge Growth and COO African Rainbow Capital (ARC), Director of ARC Financial Services Brenda is a qualified Ontological Coach through Newfield USA, holds a National Diploma in Accounting and a Management Development Program Diploma with UNISA. She has considerable business and leadership experience in building effective teams, managing projects and stakeholders, growing SMEs, transforming supply chains and assisting organisations to embrace B-BBEE. In 2014 she was selected as a finalist for Top Young Executive of the Year.
Non-Executive Director, Edge Growth and Founder and Chief Executive, Maya Group Dinao is a CFA Charterholder with more than 15 years’ experience in investment banking and consulting. She has extensive experience in commercial and strategic consulting on Public-Private-Partnerships as well as strategic initiatives in Enterprise Development.
Chief Executive: Growth, Edge Growth and Executive Director, Edge Board Stuart has been integral in building Edge Growth to become a leading firm in the ESD market. He is responsible for their business growth programmes and is a highly regarded enterprise development specialist. He utilises his vast background in corporate supply chain, SME funding and management consulting to build businesses for impact.
Non-Executive Director, Edge Growth and Associate Deal Executive at African Rainbow Capital (ARC) Tshepo holds a B Acc.Sci (Taxation Honours) from Wits and is a Chartered Accountant CA (SA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). He looks after deal sourcing, evaluation and execution as well as investment portfolio management. Prior to joining ARC, he dealt with Pan-African mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, venture capital, equity valuations, financial modeling, deal structuring and post investment monitoring and management.
