SMME Priorities for the Post COVID-19 Economy
A big THANK YOU to all small business owners who participated in Survey Fiesta’s 2020 COVID-19 business survey, which sought to determine how SMEs would alleviate the effects of COVID-19 moving forward in their business endeavours.
The project was a successful initiative, conducted in collaboration with 10 socio-economic entities, among them, Edge Growth and Profit Share Partners (an Edge Growth portfolio business).
Some interesting findings were made in relation to:
- The impact of COVID-19
- Response and measures towards COVID-19
- Working remotely
- Perceptions around going back to ‘normal’
While 78% of respondents saw the need for digital transformation in business, this shined an even brighter light on those who responded otherwise, considering the global shift towards the 4IR and its implications on businesses. There is, of course, a lot more where this came from…
